He also led the Institution of Electrical Engineers –now Institution of Engineering and Technology—Olabisi Onabanjo University, chapter,a UK based charity moderating the practise of Engineering. As the Chair, Local Board of the OOU branch, he led a team of his peers in organising several forums for discussing careers in Engineering and Technology, new technologies and what they portend for the future etc., and participated in all national IET events which included live webcast of annual IET summits.
Oluwakorede Asuni has had close to 12 months experience in training, since he first volunteered and later was employed at Paradigm Initiative Nigeria (PIN), Lagos, where he helped design CaneVillage.com - a business and technology capacity building program for artisans at the cane village in Lagos and managed the Non-Profit Employee Motivation Program (NEMP) a capacity building program for non-profits in Nigeria.
Given his interests in social interventions and his vastness in delivering IT based solutions for businesses and individuals, he has set out to offer his skills to organisations and individuals in order to reach their target audience, optimally –via IT/Online product development, research and consulting, internet advisory services, IT based business support services and online visibility management, in return for some financial considerations to help further his many causes and interests, thereby creating a win-win situation for organisations and individuals who are his patrons (and get quality services at fractions of what it will usually cost them) and his own socially inclined activities (which otherwise may suffer from a lack of funding).

Oluwakorede keeps a day job as a classroom teacher at Government Secondary School, Minna – where he is completing the mandatory One year National Youth Service, spends time interacting and positively challenging young people to excel and spends his evenings and weekends completing assignments and monitor ongoing assignments for his growing list of clients.
